God, this just got worse and worse every time it came up today. I saw the story at about 9:15, and then an hour or so later my office-mate said "Oh my god, did you see there was a shooting at Tech", and by the time I got to my meeting at the other building the death toll had leaped from one (1) to twenty-two, which was previously the figure for also injured, and I thought, did all those injured people die in the last three hours? And then in the car it turned out there was a second shoot-up in another building, and kids jumping out windows, and by now the death toll is holding pretty steady at 33, and for this we refuse to infringe the people's right to bear arms?!
